 Game 1
 
GateWay easily did away with Paradise Valley 8-1 on Tuesday The Geckos fired up the offense in the second inning, when Rebekka Nance doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The Lady Geckos smacked one home run on the day. Amaya Porch had a long ball in the third inning. GateWay put up two additional runs in the third inning on a single by Kaitlin Samuelson.
 
Kelly Katalbas pitched the Geckos to victory. The bulldog surrendered one run on two hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Dawn Morris was in the pitcher's circle for Paradise Valley. She allowed eight hits and six runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one.  Jazlyn Romero threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
 
GateWay saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game.  Nance, Porch, and Katalbas all collected multiple hits for the Geckos.  Nance led the way with three hits in three at bats. The Lady Geckos were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. 
 
 
Game 2
 
GateWay took home a 4-1 victory over Paradise Valley. The Geckos got things started in the first inning when Kelly Katalbas singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. GateWay notched three runs in the second inning.  The rally was led by a single by Amaya Porch and a home run by Jai'dyn Moore. The Lady Geckos scattered nine hits in the game.  Angelina Martinez and Porch each managed multiple hits for GateWay collecting two hits each.
 
Katalbas was the winning pitcher for GateWay. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking zero. Holly Myers was in the pitcher's circle for Paradise Valley in game 2. Myers allowed nine hits and four runs over six innings, striking out four.
