Shallenberger and Martinez named ACCAC Player and Pitcher of the Week

Player of the Week – Treston Shallenberger – GateWay – Batted .500 (8-16) in four games with two doubles, two triples, two home runs and drove in seven. He even stole two bases. It is the second weekly selection for the sophomore from Rio Ranco, N.M. and V. Sue Cleveland H.S.

Pitcher of the Week – Zach Martinez– GateWay  – In his only start of the week he pitched seven shutout innings against Chandler-Gilbert, allowing just two hits and striking out six. He is a sophomore from Peoria, AZ, and Mountain Ridge H.S.
