ACCAC Soccer All-Star Games!!

Congratulations to our Men's and Women's soccer players selected to play in the 22-23 ACCAC Soccer All-Star Game this past Friday. The games were held at Bell bank park and featured select players from throughout the conference. 

 

Men's Soccer Players Selected:

Brian Garcia: Brian has a career 14 starts and 125 saves during his 2 years as a Goalkeeper at Gateway. Brian completed his Associates in Arts degree this past Fall. He is planning to persue a four year degree in Social Work. 

Omar Ramirez: Omar has been a Gecko for 3 years and has appeared in 32 games including 17 starts during that time. Omar is continuing to work towards his Associates in Business degree. 

Yamil Herrera: Yamil has accumulated 22 starts over the last 2 seasons and participated in 26 games total. During that time he had 2 goals and 2 assists. Yamil will be completing his Associates in Business this spring. 

Bryan Robles: Bryan has participated in 23 games including 14 starts overthe last 2 seasons. Bryan is working towards completing the Toyota T-Ten program here at Gateway. 

 

Women's Soccer Players Selected: 

Leigha Ritchie: Has started in all 24 games she has played in during the last 2 seasons. She has recorded 1 goal and 3 assists. Leigha is majoring in Nursing and will be completing her Associates in Arts this Spring. She will be attending Park University in the fall. 

Arleanna Arreola Palomares: Arleanna started in 24 of the 25 games she participated in. Has has a career 6 goals and 1 assists with a SH% of .500. Her studies have focused on architecture and she will be completing her Assocaites in Arts this spring. 

Stephanie Zazueta: Steph has started in all 26 games she partipated in, recording 2 goals and 2 assists. Steph will be completing her Associates degree this summer and has focused her studies on exercise science and physical therapy. 

Joanna Arreola Palomares: Joanna is a transfer from Mesa. During her 1 season as a Gecko she started in 11 games and recorded 7 goals and 1 assist with an SH% of .778. She has focused her studies on Pre-Veterinarian.
