Four Geckos were selected to play in the ACCAC Soccer All-Star Game.
Piper Dunn: 2020 Arizona Connections Academy graduate, Piper started in 10 games this fall and had 2 assists. Her primary position is center back.
Alexa Torstenson: Alexa "Lexi" is a 2021 Campo Verde graduate. Lexi contributed both on the field and in the goal this past fall. In the goal she logged 155 minutes over 2 games, 1 of which she started. She had 21 saves and a SAV% of .913. On the field she played both in the midfield and in the defense. She started 11 games on the field and logged 2 assist and 1 goal.
Twyla Morgan: A 2021 Mountain View graduate, Twyla started in goal for 12 games. She was second in the conference for saves with 118 during the fall season.
Brazil Cruz-Zamora: A 2020 Dobson High School graduate, Brazil started in 16 games during is two seasons at Gateway. He has a career 4 goals and 1 assist. His primary position his forward and midfield.
The ACCAC Soccer All-Star games will be held at Legacy Sports Park in Mesa on Friday, Feburay 18th. Both games are scheduled for a 2:15pm kickoff.
