Aaron Bazan also had a standout performance, hitting a home run and driving in two runs. Also contributing at the plate were Jeter Mauzey and Max Slavin both with two hits and two RBIs, as well as Austin Mallee with one hit and one RBI. Mallee and Slavin also hit a double during the game. Gateway's pitching, led by Dom Giustino, effectively shut down Paradise Valley's offense, allowing only four hits and no runs throughout the six-inning game.
