D.V. Takes Game 1 of GW Black and Blue Fall World Series

T.T. lost the lead late in a 7-3 defeat to D.V. on Wednesday.  The game was tied at two with D.V. batting in the top of the fifth when David Romero singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs. T.T. lost despite out-hitting D.V. ten to eight. Wyatt Bauer took the win for D.V.. Bauer lasted three and a third innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out four.  Dawson McHughes and Micky Scheetz entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.  Luke Legumina took the loss for T.T.. Legumina lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and three runs while walking one.  Cade Nelson started the game for D.V.. Nelson allowed three hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two Carson Jacobs started the game for T.T.. The righty went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out three  T.T. tallied ten hits in the game.  RJ Molina, Diego Trujillo, and Macs Carrillo each racked up multiple hits for T.T..  Molina led T.T. with three hits in four at bats.  Diego Alvarado went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead D.V. in hits. Game 2 today 3 pm at Gene Autry Park. D.V. looks to potentially win the series today!
