Softball Split their conference opener series against Scottsdale on Tuesday night.
Game 1:
Gateway fell short against Scottsdale in a low scoring affair, losing by a score of 1-0. Despite outhitting their opponents 6-3, Gateway was unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities, leaving 7 runners on base throughout the game.
Gateway's Offense Stalls Despite Strong Hitting:
- The team managed 6 hits, spread evenly across 6 players.
- Rebekka Nance and Kelly Katalbas led the way with 1 double each.
